Day 1

Travel Day

Daily Activity Key:

Day 2

Welcome to Edinburgh

Become oriented with the city of Edinburgh through an orientation meeting with your guide and a stroll onto Prince Street in the neighborhood of Georgian Edinburgh. Then, walk to Edinburgh Royal Mile to see iconic views and architecture or up Calton Hill for a breathtaking sunset view. Free evening to catch a Fringe show of your choice.

Day 3

Enter the Highlands

Begin with an early morning train ride into Stirling, situated in the foothills of the Scottish Highlands with stunning views from its medieval castle walls. Then, immerse yourself deeper into the Highlands with the charm of a quaint town nestled amongst beautiful views and settle in for a few nights.

Day 4

Highland Games

Make your way to a local Highlands Game experience, full of music, dancing, bagpipes, and impressive displays of strength in tossing cabers and the like. Enjoy good food, friendly people, and fun-filled activities.

Day 5

Free Day in the Highlands

Situated in a town with hikes and train rides to more views all around you, today you will enjoy a free day to spend as you like amongst the Scottish Highlands.

Day 6

Return to Edinburgh

Meander by train back down into the Lowlands possibly in time to catch another Fringe and explore more sites in and around Edinburgh.

Day 7

Military Tattoo

Spend your last full day roaming the city of Edinburgh choosing among options such as Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, Saint Giles Cathedral, Canongate Kirk, the National Museum of Scotland and much more! Tonight, you will enjoy the world-famous Edinburgh Military Tattoo performance on the esplanade of Edinburgh Castle.

Travel Day
