Chouteau, Oklahoma countryside is home to a flourishing Amish and Mennonite Community.
Their community’s history begins with the Oklahoma land run and continues as a strong family centered community today.
Enjoy the trip to Amish countryside in a luxurious, air-conditioned charter bus with full view windows to take in all the sights. Catch a bit of living history as you tour the Amish farm after a family style lunch at the Miller’s farm.
Take a stroll among the quiet countryside as we visit Our Lady of Clear Creek Abbey. Clear Creek Abbey is a Benedictine Community. A brotherhood who devotes themselves to God alone in the hidden life, in silence and solitude, in constant prayer and willing penance.
Truly a wonderful visit to experience a place of calmness, tranquilly and quietness among the Oklahoman landscape. Visit with the monks and tour the Abbey as your heart desires.
You can feast on a delicious array of cheese and bakery with a visit to the Amish Cheese House and Nettie Ann’s bakery for special treats.
Invite your friends to come along and delight in the sights of the country as you begin to relax and leave the cares of city behind. The trip is open to all seniors 65 years and older.

Parking for our group will be in the northcentral area of the church parking lot. We can leave our cars there and board the bus.
