This is one of the best times to consider a trip to Europe - current airfares to Europe are about $200-$300 lower than a year ago at the same time. I would advise you to search for the tickets via search engine but book DIRECTLY with airlines! you may save money, and certainly when something goes wrong with your flights, you will improve your chances of making easy changes if the ticket was issued by the airline. Keep traveling!
Is it a good time to travel?

On one hand, there is an economic downturn and general insecurity about income. On the other hand, there are many opportunities to get great airfares and/or prices on cruises and hotels. So, what is one to do? A better question would be - how does one decide on a good time to travel? For me, a good time to travel is when: (1) I have disposable income and (2) I have free time (or have paid vacation time) and (3) I have a desire to discover and to learn from other cultures and/or civilizations If the answer is yes to the above three propositions, the one needs to decide where and when to travel. And historically, the fall is the least expensive time to travel abroad (minus Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks). So, my advise is to travel, as long as you have money, time, and desire.
